Sunday Snapshot: Ice Skating at Bryant Park….
Sometimes, when you’re travelling you take a photo that you just want to share with the world – Sunday Snapshot is about doing exactly that.
I’m going to share one of my favourite travel photos with you every Sunday and tell you why it’s special to me.

This is one of the most memorable moments of our trip to New York last December.
We were heading to the Empire State building so we could go to the top and see the city all lit up at night and we walked through Bryant Park on our way there. The girls decided that they’d seen enough sites for that day and begged (literally begged 😂) to go ice skating instead.
We queued for an hour and when we finally got o the front, they picked up their skates and head to the rink while I stood on the sidelines with a hot apple cider guarding our shopping bags.
It was a huge pinch-me moment as they skated around the famous ice ring under the huge Christmas tree having so much fun. Just when I thought it couldn’t get better it started to snow which made the moment just about as perfect as any moment could be.
We actually never made it to the top of the Empire State Building that trip but I wouldn’t have changed it for the world!
Happy Sunday!
